Brian grew up with an expansive back yard and an even bigger appreciation for the outdoors. The son of a park ranger, Brian lived in Arizona’s Catalina State Park and spent much of his youth exploring all of its 5,500 acres. He obtained a BA in International Affairs from Northern Arizona University and an MPA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California while seeking out new adventures among our world’s natural wonders. In his travels, Brian has rafted on Peru’s Urubamba River, kayaked in Croatia, cycled in the Bolivian Andes, and bush camped in rural Namibia. He has more than a decade of nonprofit work experience and has served in various roles related to administration, communications and development. Brian joined LEAP in 2016 and is proud to portray the impact of our programs with our community.
